Getting Started

How do I get started with MyBid.Pro?
Sign up for a free trial, complete the onboarding wizard to set up your company profile, customize your AI assistant, and embed the chat widget on your website. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
Do I need technical skills to set up the chatbot?
Not at all! Our setup wizard guides you through everything. To add the chat widget to your website, you just copy and paste a small code snippet. If you need help, our support team is always available.
Can I try MyBid.Pro before committing?
Yes! We offer a free trial so you can experience the full power of MyBid.Pro before entering payment information.

Features & Functionality

What does the AI chatbot do?
Our AI chatbot answers customer inquiries 24/7, collects lead information (name, phone, email, address, service needed), qualifies leads based on your criteria, and can book appointments directly into your calendar.
How does the voice assistant work?
The voice assistant answers calls to your business phone number, has natural conversations with callers, takes messages, collects lead information, and can schedule appointments. It works even after business hours.
Can I customize how the AI responds?
Absolutely! You can set your AI's personality (professional, friendly, casual), provide custom instructions, set your business hours, define your service area, and specify what services you do and don't offer.
Does the chatbot integrate with my calendar?
Yes! The AI checks your real-time availability and books appointments directly into your schedule. It also considers travel time between jobs to prevent scheduling conflicts.

Pricing & Billing

How does pricing work?
We offer two plans: Monthly at $39/month or Annual at $450/year. Both include per-lead fees using volume tiers: $3.00 for the first 50 leads, $2.50 for leads 51-150, $2.00 for leads 151-500, and $1.50 for 501+ leads per month. Annual subscribers save 25% on all lead tiers.
What's the difference between monthly and annual plans?
The Annual plan costs $450/year (equivalent to $37.50/month) and gives you a 25% discount on all per-lead charges. For example, your first 50 leads cost $2.25 instead of $3.00 each. The Monthly plan is $39/month with standard lead pricing.
What counts as a "lead"?
A lead is counted when a visitor provides their contact information (phone number or email) through the chat widget or voice assistant. Repeat conversations with the same contact don't count as new leads.
Can I switch between monthly and annual plans?
Yes! You can upgrade from monthly to annual at any time and receive pro-rated credit. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at your next renewal date.
How do I dispute a lead charge?
You can dispute leads within 7 days of creation if you believe they were invalid (spam, wrong number, duplicate, etc.). Go to Billing > Usage, find the lead, and click "Dispute". Our team reviews disputes within 5 business days.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. For monthly plans, you'll have access until the end of your billing period. Annual subscribers can request a pro-rated refund within 30 days of renewal.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a satisfaction guarantee during your trial period. Monthly subscribers don't receive refunds for partial months. Annual subscribers can request pro-rated refunds if canceling within 30 days of their renewal date.

SMS & Notifications

Can MyBid.Pro send text messages to my customers?
Yes! You can enable SMS notifications to send appointment reminders and confirmations to customers. Messages are sent from your business phone number, and customers can opt-out anytime by replying STOP.
Do customers need to opt-in for SMS?
Yes, customers must opt-in to receive SMS notifications. The AI assistant can collect this consent during booking, or customers can opt-in through your website. You're responsible for maintaining proper consent records.
What types of notifications can I send?
Currently, you can send appointment reminders (24 hours before) and instant confirmations when appointments are booked. Email notifications are also available for customers who prefer them.
Is there an extra cost for SMS?
SMS notifications are included in your subscription at no extra cost. However, standard messaging rates may apply to your customers depending on their phone plan.

Voice Assistant & IVR

What is the IVR menu feature?
IVR (Interactive Voice Response) lets you set up automated menu options for callers, like "Press 1 to schedule an appointment, Press 2 to leave a voicemail." You can configure up to 4 menu options in your AI Assistant settings.
How do voicemails work?
When callers leave a voicemail, it's automatically transcribed and stored in your Voicemails inbox. You can review the transcription, call the customer back, or book an appointment directly from the voicemail details.
Are voice calls recorded?
Yes, voice calls may be recorded for quality assurance and service improvement. Callers are informed at the start of each call. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely and accessible from your dashboard.
Can the AI transfer calls to a real person?
Yes! You can configure IVR options to transfer callers to a specific phone number. This is useful for urgent inquiries or when customers prefer speaking with a human.

Technical & Security

Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your customer data is stored securely and never shared with third parties. We're compliant with data protection regulations.
Can I export my data?
Yes, you can export all your customer data, chat transcripts, and appointment history at any time from your dashboard.
What happens if the AI can't answer a question?
If the AI encounters a question it can't answer, it will politely let the customer know and offer to have someone from your team follow up. You'll receive a notification about these conversations.
